Two commodities carry a documented gap rather than a clean answer. For refined sugar and soybean meal, whether a phytosanitary certificate is mandatory is set per product and destination and was not closed by a primary source. For wet blue leather, the exact mandatory sanitary document is not named by a primary source, though the MAPA regime and the approved-tannery requirement are confirmed. Both are marked unconfirmed on purpose.
One check looks available and is not: the DU-E export declaration leaves a real trace but has no public buyer lookup, since consulting it needs the exporter's own e-CPF. Ask for the number and copy, and match it to the invoice.
