Pricing
Importing into Brazil is packaged, with a confirmed USD figure for each stage. Sourcing from Brazil is quoted per deal, because the commodity and the scope vary too much for one price list, and we would rather quote it right than round it.
Importing into Brazil: packaged stages
Confirmed 24 September 2026. Each package includes everything in the one before it.
| Package | Price | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Market reconnaissance | from USD 1,500 | Product diagnosis and NCM classification, demand validation against ComexStat, the regulatory access map (duties, ANVISA/MAPA/INMETRO, RADAR), landed cost against competitor prices, and a go/no-go verdict |
| Route to sales | from USD 5,000 | Everything in market reconnaissance, plus a shortlist of 3-5 distributors or buyers with first contacts made, an entry strategy and sales model, pricing and shelf positioning, and a deal plan |
| Full-cycle market entry | from USD 10,000 | Everything in route to sales, plus company set-up (CNPJ) and a bank account, support through active negotiations to signature, logistics and customs coordination, and a local representative for ongoing monthly sales management |
| Individual services outside the packages | from USD 1,000 | A single defined piece of work, such as one regulatory registration or one NCM classification, bought on its own |
Our fee is in USD. Government fees, notary costs, sworn translation, partners' fees, freight and taxes are separate and quoted once the specifics are known. The exact amount follows a free diagnostic call; we do not quote a number before that call because the figure depends on how many regulatory bodies the product touches and how complex the classification is. The full-cycle package can also be arranged as a fixed fee plus a percentage of deals closed, by agreement.
Full detail on what the flagship stage delivers is on the market entry assessment page.
Sourcing from Brazil: quoted per deal
There is no fixed price list on this branch. What drives the number:
- The commodity. Coffee, beef, poultry, leather and sugar each need different registries, plants and standards checked, at different depths.
- The scope. A search alone costs less than a search plus due diligence plus inspection coordination on the winning candidate. Buyers who already found a supplier often start at due diligence rather than paying for a search they do not need.
- How many candidates need checking. A shortlist of 3-5 that survives the registry checks can mean checking considerably more than 3-5 before the list is that short.
- Where the goods and the inspection point are. An inspection near a major port costs less to coordinate than one at an inland facility far from Santos, Paranaguá, Rio Grande or Itaqui.
The free diagnostic call sizes the actual work before we quote a figure, and the quote is in writing before anything paid starts.
What is never part of either price
We do not charge a percentage of the cargo's value as an undisclosed markup, and we do not hold or move client money on either side. Where a licensed partner (a Brazilian lawyer registered with the OAB, an accountant registered with the CRC, a licensed customs broker, or an independent inspection company) has to perform part of the work, their fee is quoted separately and shown as a separate line, not folded invisibly into ours.
Sources
Every figure on this page is our own service fee, not a government-set rate: USD 1,500 / 5,000 / 10,000 / 1,000 for the four import packages, confirmed 24 September 2026. Sourcing from Brazil carries no fixed price by design, stated above. Brazilian import taxes referenced in the FAQ (duties, ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS) are covered separately, sourced and dated, on how Brazil's import taxes cascade.

Frequently asked questions
Is USD 1,500 the total cost of entering the Brazilian market?
No. It is our fee for the market reconnaissance package. Government fees, notary costs, sworn translation, third-party report costs, freight and taxes are separate and quoted once the specific product and volume are known. The exact total follows the free diagnostic call.
Why is sourcing from Brazil quoted per deal instead of a fixed price?
Because the price depends on the commodity, whether the scope is search only or search plus due diligence and inspection, and how many candidates need checking before a shortlist survives. A fixed number would either overcharge simple cases or undercharge complex ones; the diagnostic call sizes it correctly instead.
Can the full-cycle package be a percentage instead of a fixed fee?
By agreement, yes. The full-cycle market entry package can be structured as a fixed fee plus a percentage on deals closed, where that fits the client better than a flat number. We do not publish a percentage figure here; it is set on a case-by-case basis in the proposal.
Do prices include VAT or Brazilian taxes on the service itself?
Our fee is quoted in USD as a service fee. Brazilian taxes on the transaction being advised on, duties, ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, are a separate matter covered on the relevant tax pages and are not part of our fee.
